Funny how things work out…..
We purchased this lot in July of 2020 and planned to build our dream home there sometime in the future. I dabbled with layouts for the house plans but then life ‘happened’ and we had the opportunity to move to Florida - which had been something we’d been toying with for a number of years. We are BIG Disney fans (we’ve had annual passports to Walt Disney World for about the last 25 years) and with Mark being based in Boston - it seemed like a good fit.
Or at least that’s what we thought. ;-)
Mark really enjoyed commuting from Orlando to Boston (instead of Salt Lake City to Boston) and we loved being able to pop over to Disney anytime we wanted to - BUT - that very first summer did us in. Between the heat and humidity we realized we didn’t want to spend our lives dripping pools of sweat on the sidewalk - SO - we sold the lot in June of 2022 and used the proceeds to purchase a small 2-bedroom condo in downtown SLC, to have a place to retreat to when Florida became unbearable (which was pretty much May - September for me).
That’s “part one” of this story - which like a meandering drive through the canyons in the Wasatch Front during the fall, surprises you around every corner.
